Best Ways to Give Up the Ghost

You only live once but if you do it right, once is enough. The thing is we mess it up most of the time. People who are fortunate to be born in a well-off family end up spending all their wealth and end up miserable. People who were born miserable die miserable. Life is full of struggles, pain, and misery that I ask myself, why do people still want to live in this world? I mean, seeing all these tragedies, why would they still want to endure all this pain? I came up with one solution on how to stop these troubles, suicide. There are, of course, a lot of ways to die. But I will show you the best ways to die that even at the very last moment, you can catch a glimpse of happiness.

Included on the list is to have an honorable death, to be a hero! Defending your friends from the massive zombie invasion will gain you awesomeness and respect. Although your survival chances are minimum, the feeling of being the last stand is great. But the best part of it is after you die, you become immortal! Isn’t that amazing? You are going to live again without any problems your past life did give you. This is surely and epic way to die.

If you don’t want to die painful deaths, there are painless ways to die. You just have to gather every medicine tablet you could find and medicate yourself with it. An antibiotic would be the best supplement for this. Just think that after taking all these medicines, we will be immune to all kinds of diseases due to the effect of every tablet that went through our digestive track. You don’t need to have a doctor’s prescription for this kind of medication.

Well, dying alone is boring. So having a friend with you would be great. He or she will surely give you company. There are lots of things you can do together with your friend. Both of you can play the “let’s poke eyes” or the “I cut you, you…...

Never Give Up

... Five minutes did not pass when the tears were threatening to spill from my tired-looking eyes; I was doing my best to suppress yet another yawn. Taking notes and trying to stay awake, I pondered over a question. How can a subject possibly be so uninteresting? On every lesson, the teacher would go on forever about how ingenious the poet's use of verbs was, and how wonderfully he or she described the situation while using only a few words. She also never seemed to miss an opportunity to praise the author's brilliance while creating the characters. "How could it be possible for a literary work to be flawless?" – I asked myself waiting for my classmates' reaction; however, nobody seemed to dare to oppose the teacher's viewpoint. I decided to become the "pioneer". My chance came when we were learning about "The Miserable Ones" by Victor Hugo. My teacher immediately divided the characters into two separate compartments labelled "good" and "bad". I could not comprehend the teacher's notion that Javert, one of the characters, was a complete essence of evil and malevolence. She did not even consider any of his admirable traits such as his devotion to work or self-discipline. I personally considered him misguided rather than evil, but when I shared my view with the teacher, I was ignored. Days passed, and after numerous criticized and even ridiculed attempts to speak up my mind, my lack of interest in the subject transformed into strong dislike. I became allergic to......

Best Way to Study

...BEST WAY TO STUDY For some time, research studies have concluded that we do not learn / study in precisely the same way. For this brief commentary, I have deliberately grouped both terms as similar. While this common sense approach towards scholarship represents a welcomed message for parents and students, many teachers still teach a large number of pupils one way, more often than not, by using traditional teaching styles that might appear to be successful for the teacher but unsuccessful for a large majority of the youngsters seated in front of them. This is incorrect teaching -- proof that common sense continues to be not all that common within many of today's classrooms. My following commentary attempts to address this key issue, while at the same time, to offer suggestions for possible classroom improvement. If teachers require their students to receive domain-specific information in a way that does not correspond with their dominant learning modalities, to perform under classroom conditions that interfere with their preferred learning, or to demonstrate learning in such a way that fails them to use their more dominant intelligences, then such teachers create within their students forms of artificial stress, reduced motivation, and repressed performance. Along this same line of thinking, there is a considerable body of research evidence suggesting that many special education students who have been formally categorized, for example, as learning disabled (LD) are, in......

Breastfeeding Is the Best Way to Feed

Breastfeeding is the best choice a mother can make for her newborn, there is benefits for her child, herself and society. When it comes to breastfeeding there are so many benefits, especially for the infant. When reading the article Passport to Wellness: Breastfeeding is the Best Feeding, the author Medlock states, “The first concern of a mother is the health of her newborn baby. But how can a mother ensure her child will be the healthiest possible? The answer: breast milk.” (Medlock, 2013, para. 2) A female’s priorities changes once she becomes a mother, her new focus is now on her child and what is best for him or her. Is Fasting the Best Way of Diet?

...Here’s how your body reacts when you stop feeding it: When you eat, your digestive system breaks down carbohydrates into the sugar glucose, the body’s major source of energy. Glucose is absorbed from the digestive tract into the blood, which then travels to your body’s cells to provide them with fuel. If you haven’t eaten recently, the supply of glucose in your blood drops and your body turns to stored glucose, called glycogen, for energy. Once the glycogen is used up, your body begins to burn fat and muscle stores to make its own glucose to fuel your cells. After a few days without eating (which experts don’t recommend) your body kicks into ketosis mode, meaning you burn fat as the primary source of fuel, in order to spare muscle. You will lose weight in the form of body fat. However, ketosis also makes your blood will also become more acidic, and can cause bad breath, fatigue, and other unpleasant symptoms; long-term, it can lead to kidney and liver damage. Dieting and fasting provide two different ways to accomplishing fitness and weight loss. Fasting sets the foundation by detoxifying the digestive system and promoting rapid weight loss - dieting takes the baton and allows one to maintain the weight loss and improved health gained through fasting. Diets are helpful but, in my case, being 60 pounds overweight, they did not (by themselves) provide a "solution" to my life-long volatile and destructive eating habits. Now when we say "diet," we are not referring to a......

Never Give Up

...saying hits home for me because there was a time I thought I could not play sports or thought that it would be a struggle because I had asthma. After beating myself up over not having the courage to try, my friends encouraged me to try out for basketball. When starting out it was a little hard to run and bounce the ball at the same time, it took even more energy and effort to shoot the ball. This did not help in keeping my spirit high. I felt defeated and stopped trying. While feeling bad about not being good right away I remembered what my mom told me “Everything does not come easy, you have to work for it”. This made me feel better and I practiced every day after school until I learned how to play the game. Now basketball is my favourite sport, if I had not tried it wouldn’t have been possible for me to brag about my accomplishments today. If you do not try to do something, you will never know if you are good at it. Confidence is the key when it comes to trying something new. Don’t be a failure by thinking you cannot do something or not even try. When making a mistake, try harder the next time and it will eventually become easy. You will be very happy and pleases with yourself when you try to do something and succeed. When attempting to do something put in the effort so you can be the best at it. I have learned that not trying is worst than trying and failing. I have so much to learn and will try my hardest to accomplish all my goals....

The Best Way of Communication

...The Best Way of Communication Senhua Ma Level 6D Composition Mr. Ivey October 11, 2013 The Best Way of Communication Nowadays, much of the communication that takes place involves some sort of equipment, such as faxes, telephone calls, and e-mails. According to an investigation by The Associated Press (2010), communication equipment is becoming indispensable to people. In other words, people rely on it as never before. Is it proof that face-to-face communication is no longer important? Absolutely not! Face-to-face communication lets people directly know the actual personalities of people, and interact with each other without any barriers. Although as advanced technology develops, people have many new ways to keep connect with others, face-to-face communication is still the most important and effective method to communicate with others in education, business, and daily life. Education Online education is a teaching method, which uses a network media to allow students and teachers to carry out teaching and learning activities even thousands of miles away. First of all, it really breaks the constraints of time and space, because students and teachers do not have to go to school buildings. They can learn or teach anytime and anywhere. For example, Open University of Britain offers an online and distance education system called ODE, which has a worldwide reputation for education. This program, which has flexible teaching time, exclusively utilizes the online mode of......

Never Give Up

...bench was extremely difficult to deal with. Consequently, as I missed the whole season, I wanted to start new. Once my knee was completely healed and I was finished with therapy, I joined a travelling club team. I immediately fell in love with the game again when I started playing. I still struggled with regaining the same strength and agility I had before, due to the lack of playing time I lost, but I never gave up. Unfortunately, I underwent the same circumstances when playing my junior year. It hurts to have something that you love taken away from you. When my playing time was taken from me a second time, my confidence and hope was lowered significantly. My love for the game, however, never wavered. After the school season ended, I went on to play volleyball on a travelling team again. Being able to be on the court and doing what I loved brought back the confidence and hope that I had lost before. Playing volleyball has had an enormous impact on my life. The most important thing I learned from playing was to never give up. If I hadn’t been persistent, defying the ups and downs and continuously learning throughout the journey, I wouldn’t be the person I am now....

The Best Way to Manage People

...Introduction In this essay I will be discussing ‘the best way to manage people’. Moreover, I will demonstrate a clear understanding whilst applying significant theory as well as relevant case study material gathered whilst studying the ‘Managing People’ module, in order to support my arguments. In relation to the overall theme of my essay the inclusion of a further sophisticated discussion of the main features based around the assignments criteria will be critically evaluated throughout. The main key areas I will articulate clearly are as follows : Culture’s impact upon people management, the issues a manager of groups and teams needs to consider, the limitations of leadership theory for management practice, managerial practises ensuring their workforce is motivated, management ethics and possible dilemmas that may occur. All five of the assignment’s main features will be conversed in detail in conjunction with concluding either the ‘one best way’ or a ‘holistic approach’ in terms of the ‘best way to manage people’. A key term associated with people management is organisational behaviour which is the study of human behaviour within organisations. It is a study that can be used to identify individual skills and differences in the workforce and how they can use these skills both individually and when in a group. The main aspect is that of structure within organisations and the various power dynamics used all being influenced by the time and space it is done within.......

Never Give Up

...Never Give Up” There is no such thing as an ending Just a new beginning. I think this quote is awesome, and has a lot of meaning in my life. To me this quote literally mean, “never give up” when I say never I mean never God does everything for a reason. So I never complain neither do I ever give up. Basically everything good I do with school or education wise is because I choose to. I know what I want in life so that's what I'm going to fight for until I get it. I have a good parents but when it comes to supporting me education wise, I never really had that. I am at the age where as though I don't let that bother me, because I know “ in the end of my new beginning” I know they will be proud of me. I really don't have a support system, it's really only me supporting my self. I mean I have people that care but don't support me. I have my days when I just wanna break down & emotionally cry and give up because I feel so alone not having anybody support me. Until I jump back to reality and “never give up” no matter how hard or how difficulty it get I will always keep trying. You always have to go through lemons to get to lemonade is my Moto. I honesty feel as though I came to far to give up! I am a very good well matured teenager, I am 17 years of age, I have 2 jobs. Give Up the Keys Granny

...Give the keys up “Granny!” For the past 6 years of experience of driving on the road, experiencing road rage from other drivers. Also seeing the elderly on their phones and driving. In my personal opinion I believe the elderly shouldn’t be allowed to drive over the age of 70. My grandfather is 67 years old; he taught me everything that I know. He taught me how to drive when I was 16 years old. In the past 2 years he’s been in 5 accidents and somehow he keeps passing he’s drivers test. The first accident was that he ran through a red light and hit the car passing. The second he wasn’t paying attention to what he was doing on the highway and tried to lanes and hit the car on this left. Need I say more? I love him, but here comes a time when the elderly need to admit that it’s time to give the keys up and start taking public transportation. Not only is my grandfather the worse elderly driver out there, but there’s thousands. I may be cruel for saying if you’re 70 or older you can no longer drive, because it is still their sense of freedom. I think if the DMV gave frequent drivers test and other physicals for the elderly there would be far less accidents from them. Although 25-42 percent of accidents are because doctors don’t give direct directions about driving on prescribed medications. Although the elderly do drive very slow and don’t cause as many accidents as a 25-30 year old would. It is aggravating when you have a time limit to be somewhere and the speed limit is......
