History
The Maybelline Company was created by New York chemist T.L. Williams in 1915. Williams, in his early 30's noticed his younger sister applying a mixture of Vaseline and coal dust to her eyelashes to give them a darker, fuller look. He adapted it in his small laboratory and produced a product sold locally called Lash-Brow-Ine. The product was a local hit, but the awkward name held it back. His sister, who inspired the product, was named Maybel. So T.L. Williams renamed it Maybelline, a combination of Maybel and Vaseline. It is under this name that Maybelline has achieved its now legendary status in the field of cosmetics. In 1917 the company produced Maybelline Cake Mascara, "the first modern eye cosmetic for everyday use" and Ultra Lash in the 1960s, which was the first mass-market automatic.[3]
In 1967, the company was sold by T.L. Williams to Plough, Inc. (now Schering-Plough) in Memphis, Tennessee. The entire cosmetic production facility was moved from Chicago to Memphis…...

But for me my American Dream is not just a job, but a lifestyle that I want to strive for. My “American Dream” would be to have a very beneficially paying job and a supportive/loving family. A lot of people now-a-days think that money is the end all be all, when I reality it’s what you do with your time and money that make people better off. ...The Big Five Theory of Personality There are five components to the Big 5 Theory of Personality that play a part into his paper. It is often referred to as the OCEAN model of personality, because the acronym comes from the names of the five dimensions, which are: • Openness to Experience/Intellect • Conscientiousness • Extraversion • Agreeableness • Neuroticism. The Openness trait relates to characteristics that are high on imagination and insight, and have a variety of different interests. Conscientiousness is related to the thoughtfulness of an individual, goal-oriented, very organized, and good impulse to control different situations. Extraversion is a trait that comes with an individual that likes to talk, assertiveness, and can have a high amount of different emotions. Agreeableness is a trait that an individual may have to show kindness, affection, trust, and other calming and thoughtful behaviors. Lastly, Neuroticism is when an individual can have high anxiety, mood swings, irritability, sadness or anger. After taking the personality test I am able to tell you where I fall into each of these five dimensions. ...I took the “Big Five Personality Test” on the internet. Overall, I think the results were not too bad. However, some of the categories I scored a lot different than I thought I would. Otherwise, I think this a really interesting personality test to take. In the category of openness to experience, I scored low and it said that I was close-minded and not open to new experiences. I think that I'm pretty open to try anything new and thus this isn’t right. However, it also says that low scorers are down to earth, which I am. The next category was conscientiousness, I scored in the lower numbers again and thus it said that I was disorganized. I am somewhat disorganized but I don’t tend to do things haphazardly like it says. I am usually very reliable and careful like the high scorers in this category. In the category extroversion, I scored in the higher numbers and therefore it said that I am outgoing and social. That statement is very true, I am always going out with friends and talking to people. My score in this category was right on. In the category agreeableness, I scored exactly in the middle and therefore I don’t know exactly what that means. It says that I’m not forgivable or irritable. I don’t really know what that means either so I guess it could be right. The final category is neurotic-ism I scored really low. The term OCEAN is an acronym for Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism. My score for this represents a conventional, narrow interests, down to earth, and uncreative person. My results said that I am somewhat conventional.
