"Hotline Bling"
(remix of D.R.A.M.'s "Cha Cha")

You used to call me on my
You used to, you used to
Yeah

You used to call me on my cell phone
Late night when you need my love
Call me on my cell phone
Late night when you need my love
And I know when that hotline bling
That can only mean one thing
I know when that hotline bling
That can only mean one thing

Ever since I left the city you—
You got a reputation for yourself now
Everybody knows and I feel left out
Girl you got me down, you got me stressed out
'Cause ever since I left the city, you
Started wearing less and goin' out more
Glasses of champagne out on the dance floor
Hangin' with some girls I've never seen before

You used to call me on my cell phone
Late night when you need my love
Call me on my cell phone
Late night when you need my love
I know when that hotline bling
That can only mean one thing
I know when that hotline bling
That can only mean one thing

Ever since I left the city, you, you, you
You and me we just don't get along
You make me feel like I did you wrong
Going places where you don't belong
Ever since I left the city, you
You got exactly what you asked for
Running out of pages in your passport
Hanging with some girls I've never seen before

You used to call me on my cell phone
Late night when you need my love
Call me on my cell phone
Late night when you need my love
And I know when that hotline bling
That can only mean one thing
I know when that hotline bling
That can only mean one thing

These days, all I do is
Wonder if you bendin' over backwards for someone else
Wonder if you're rollin' up a backwoods for someone else
Doing things I taught you, gettin' nasty for someone else
You don't need no one else
You don't need nobody else, no
Why you never alone
Why you always touching road
Used to always stay at home, be a good girl
You…...

...1. What are business processes? How are they related to information systems? Define business processes and describe their relationship to business performance. A business process is a logically related set of activities that define how specific business tasks are performed. Business processes are the ways in which organizations coordinate and organize work activities, information, and knowledge to produce their valuable products or services. How well a business performs depends on how well its business processes are designed and coordinated. Well-designed business processes can be a source of competitive strength for a company if it can use the processes to innovate or perform better than its rivals. Conversely, poorly designed or executed business processes can be a liability if they are based on outdated ways of working and impede responsiveness or efficiency. Describe the relationship between information systems and business processes. Information systems automate manual business processes and make an organization more efficient. Data and information are available to a wider range of decision makers more quickly when information systems are used to change the flow of information. Tasks can be performed simultaneously rather than sequentially, speeding up the completion of business processes. Information systems can also drive new business models that perhaps wouldn’t be possible without the technology. 2. Why are information systems so essential for......

Rize / David Lachapelle (2005)

...an escape from all the violence and gangs that are present in L.A. for all the kids who had to grow up those kinds of neighborhoods . As time passed clowning increased to be a escape from all the violence of gangs for some children and teens who had to grow up in that kind of life set. Later on a new movement originated from clowning called krumping . Krumping is based on a more aggressive movement and much faster beat than clowning; although it may seem as if they are fighting they are not they are only expressing their feelings on to a dance movement which is very original. Artist David LaChapelle, points out “For the dancers, Krumping becomes a way of life – and, because it’s authentic expression (in complete opposition to the bling-bling hip-hop culture), the dance becomes a vital part of who they are.”  In other words this means that in their Performance they express their everyday problems or a way to relieve from all the strees or hate they might had, and focus all of that energy into krumping. ...who stands among the spectators and watches his show. We weren't very surprised to see the ramp turned into a garden of an old mansion complete with hanging glass lamps, old portraits on the walls, a wealth of planters including cacti and empty wine bottles gathering dust. Theme: Titled 'Opium', the designer attempted to show an amalgamation of aesthetic sensibilities of the West and the East, for which he combined elements from his home state West Bengal with that of Rajasthan, Kashmir, Karnataka and then fused it with the lazy, flirtatious elegance of France. And the result was a line up of ensembles that bespoke subtlety and understated elegance. Collection and detailing: A lot of designers use bling and make it look bling, then how does Sabyasachi use bling and yet make it look classy? Every piece displayed was unique in its use of fabric, silhouettes and jewellery. The girls all had their hair tied in a messy knot and sported jewellery ranging from tiaras, chandelier earrings, elaborate neckpieces and nathnis, and together with the outfits they sported it came across as a unique cultural amalgamation. Most men wore khadi turbans, a symbol of aristocracy with a fine net tale heavy with embroidery. There were plenty of quilted skirts and angrakhas on hand block printed khadi. We loved the hand block printed and quilted saree blouse with a tulle lehenga saree with cotton velvet and zardosi detail Nethra wore. Men looked elegant in textured silk sherwanis......

A 2 (product: water [Bling H2O] versus vodka [Oval vodka]) × 2 (valence of tweets: positive versus negative) × 2 (the number of followers: high versus low) between-subjects factorial design experiment (N = 160) was conducted to test the main effects and possible interaction effects of the product type, the valence of the tweets, and the number of followers on a male celebrity’s (David Kerr) Twitter page. We developed eight different types of manipulation stimuli and an accompanying online questionnaire. Each participant was randomly assigned to one of the eight conditions by being asked to view a celebrity’s Twitter page with brand-related tweets about either Bling H2O or Oval vodka and then fill out a questionnaire. No participant had any prior experience with Bling H2O or Oval vodka. Manipulation stimuli. We created Twitter pages for a semifictitious celebrity (dubbed David Kerr, using photos of an actual fashion model but with a pseudonym) to maximize internal validity. The celebrity’s persona and characteristics were based on that of various actual, real-life celebrities. We also used two different low-involvement products, Bling H2O and Oval vodka, which are endorsed by the celebrities on their Twitter pages. They are both real brands that differ in their product orientations. Bling H2O, a type of mineral water, is more health oriented and utilitarian, while Oval vodka, a premium luxury......

Crisis Hotline Research

...Crisis Hotline Research, Virginia Jennifer C. Jackson Kaplan University HN220 Prevention and Crisis Intervention 01 Professor Patricia Grace In the state of Virginia does not have a volunteer crisis intervention hotline? My local community mental health services agency (District 19) has a crisis line. This crisis line is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. In order to work on the crisis line you must be a graduate with a minimum of master’s degree in human services with your license either LPC LCSW or a qualified RN with mental health education. You must be certified in the state of Virginia by the board of mental health which requires you to take an on-line course. District 19 requires you to do additional training with them should you choose to work on the crisis line in which they offer the community. I do not believe I would feel comfortable working on the crisis line. The people who call could really just need a friendly listening ear or could really be devastated. I do not believe I could really make a person feel better about an awful situation. Life is very difficult and I do not want to tell a person that things will get better. I have been in a very low place before and it made me really angry and more upset when people would say things like “It will get better.” or ‘You’re a great person you shouldn’t put yourself down.” I feel that a job like this would be extremely personally stressful. Being that this is not a voluntary position you......

New Hotline for Parents

...successful. A company must define the generic market and product markets in which they want to compete. Understanding the types of dimensions used to segment that market in which the product line consists. The company must know how to identify the segments and what segments to target. The idea of a hotline for parents is not a new idea. Gerber, Graco, Pampers, Huggies, and many other companies have designed their own hotlines. The only difference is, Johnson & Johnson is a company that has done business for over a hundred years. The generic market is not a concern for Johnson & Johnson, plus there is a tremendous need for this market. There are many dimensions that are covered with this call-in-hotline plus the online service. Many questions can be answered with this hotline and online service that is staffed or monitored by qualified people with proper backgrounds. There are many segments that need to be targeted, such as new parents, grandparents that have become babysitters, and the list goes on. The criteria used for this type of product in this style of market can be a tricky one. The criteria for this product is anyone that needs information and or help with a child, can call this hotline, or go online for information and or advice. Furthermore, this service is free for whosoever chooses to utilize it. The fact that it is for whosoever chooses to use it, broadens the market for this product, it does not limit the service to members or customers only. The target......

...proceed to obediently turn his phone on silence, with some husbands even showing their wife the proof that they have done as they were asked. This scene is a stark contrast to the stereotypical Tamil scenes where the husband takes charge. The audience of the film is usually determined by the content of the film being watched. The crowd on that Sunday was rather diverse and they could be there to watch any of the few movies currently being shown, which are namely Jazbaa, Rudhramadevi, Talvar and Pyar Ka Punchnama 2. However, what was interesting was that the people in the particular cinema hall seemed to be of a younger generation, full of life and youth on their side as they appreciated and fully enjoyed the movie, “Singh is Bling”. Singh is bling has a star-studded cast and was directed by on of Bollywood famous directors- Prabhu Deva, with main characters played by Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. The brief story line is where Akshay Kumar is forced to move to Goa for work, but falls in love with Amy, however language barriers makes it hard for them to communicate. As the story develops, they have Lara Dutta to serve as a translator as he tries to win her heart. Audiences was generally very fascinated with the movie through out the show and were continually laughing at the buffoonery, overrating and funny one lines of Akshay Kumar. One would expect the audience reaction to be rather tamed, something similar to watching a Hollywood movie, however it was far from......

Company Law Issues

...business of Bling Bling Pty Ltd has declined and the company is in the process of insolvent and under the care of a liquidator. The liquidator has rejected Sue’s claim to the securities, which includes a substantial block of shares that were fully paid, and debentures for further substantial sum secured by charge over all company’s assets. Issue: Whether Sue can enforce her charge [security interest] against Bling Bling Pty Ltd ? Relevant case:
Under corporate law, there is a rule of separate legal entity explained in the case of Salomon v Salomon & Co Ltd. Once a company is incorporated, there will be a distinction between private and company’s debts and assets, a company can contract with its members and a company can be liable in tort to a member. As seen in the final decision in the famous case of Salomon v Salomon & Co Ltd, “…once the company is legally incorporated it must be treated like any other independent person with rights and liabilities appropriate to itself…” Application: In this case, because of there is no fraud so the company is a separate legal entity. The debenture given by the company is valid, thus, Ms. Sue should succeed in her claim against the company in her capacity as a secured creditor with priority payment for company’s debt owed to her. (b) Fact: Ms. Sue sold her company and took out an insurance policy in her name to cover the goods against fire and theft. After burglars broke into the premises of ‘Bling Bling Pty Ltd’......
