multitude of existing challenges of operating in today’s global business climate. The threat of catastrophic loss – from terrorism, natural disasters, financial mismanagement, IT security breaches, supply chain disruptions and more – demands preparedness to assure financial and business continuity. Yet recent studies suggest few companies fully understand or are properly prepared for the breadth of risks they encounter. Historically viewed as the domain of the CFO, less than 20 percent of enterprise risks are financial, legal or compliance in scope, yet all risks can ultimately have a financial consequence. Addressing the scope of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) requires a level of organizational collaboration that culturally and practically can be very difficult to implement. The first step toward creating a robust ERM program encompasses understanding the scope of risk management and nurturing collaboration and preparedness – making it a “team sport” across the enterprise.1

...Risk and risk management 1. Credit Risk – The risk of loss of principal or loss of a financial reward stemming from a borrower's failure to repay a loan or otherwise meet a contractual obligation. Credit risk arises whenever a borrower is expecting to use future cash flows to pay a current debt. Investors are compensated for assuming credit risk by way of interest payments from the borrower or issuer of a debt obligation. The higher the perceived credit risk, the higher the rate of interest that investors will demand for lending their capital. This figure is determined as follows: Loans to Assets = ( Loans / Total Assets ) 2) Nonperforming loans/total loans Nonperforming loans, or NPL, are loans that are no longer producing income for the bank that owns them. Loans become nonperforming when borrowers stop making payments and the loans enter default. Although, we can see some main competitors: Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Dell, each of these companies with a different focus area. Dell makes most of its money on PC and server hardware, while HP is more diversified as the leader in PCs and Imaging & Printing as well as offering IT services. IBM is the leader in servers, IT services, and software. Directors will build a special department for measuring, and they will measure their employees in the end of one year based on their normal work performance, service ability, character, knowledge, working attitude and punctuality. The measuring record plays an important role in a company as the basis of promotion, transfer, resignation, normal salary and annual reward to everyone. The annual performance appraisal score is divided into five grades. The first grade is 90 points or more, so employees who get this grade will be get a promotion, and given more 10 times payment. The second grade is between 80 and 90, and they will be given more 5 times payment. The third grade is above 70 points, but less than 80 points, they will be get more 3 times payment. If employees’ score is just below 60 points, their payment will not be changed. Besides, if employees do special contribution to company, they will be added 5 points one time.
