The company’s advertisement strategy would be to ensure that the message is spread on how easy and convenient it is to use the “Read N Go”. The read and go is in competition with leapfrog so the advertisement has to show that we offer something better than the leapfrog company so that the customers would choose my console over the leapfrog game console. The leapfrog game console is already well known so the “Read N Go” console will have to be advertised as a two-sided argument. According to text “a two-sided argument is when a company understands that their competitor’s brand dominates in some manner or that your brand has some weakness, you might as well acknowledge the fact and then explain why your brand is superior nevertheless.” I choose this approach because leapfrog has already establish the market on reading and teaching reading skills with a game console but the “Read N Go” console will work closely with the school system to ensure that your child will be able to use this game to improve reading lexile score in school. Advertising is important so that the customers can get a quick glance at what the product will do for them before they purchase the product. Using the two-sided argument will work well with my marketing goal because as part of the marketing strategy is to compare the console to the leapfrog game console and to let the consumers know what the “Read N Go” has to offer over the leapfrog game console. Letting the consumer know that you are aware of the bigger brands will make them feel like you know that there is a competitor and you are willing to do all you can to make your product better than their product. . This will work well with my advertising strategy because not only will it compare the two products but it will also be well-known because it is compared to a well-known product such as leapfrog. The effectiveness of the…...

Just as any other organization, Grub N’ Go starts life in the product life cycle as an idea and flows into the business it is now. Poorly trained assessors are unlikely to be objective in their observations, will misinterpret or inadequately record evidence, probably come to the wrong conclusions and, if that weren't bad enough, the chances are they'll lack the techniques to provide effective feedback to the candidates they have so misjudged. Lindy Strudwick's collection of activities provides a means of training assessors to an appropriate level of skill, quickly and cost-effectively. ...“#McDStories” hashtag, it expected to users to share favourite memories from the world’s largest restaurant chain. Instead, critics of the fast-food chain hijacked the hashtag and used it to pillory McDonald’s, accusing it of peddling unhealthy, unappetising food. The incident was the latest example of how well-intentioned social media marketing can backfire, putting a company on the defensive. While sites such as Facebook and Twitter provide unparalleled access to customers, allowing companies to interact with fans, they also provide a forum for dissenters. McDonald’s was monitoring the conversation on Twitter, and quickly took down its promoted tweets. “With all social media campaigns, we include contingency plans, should the conversation not go as planned,” Rick Wion, social media director for McDonald’s USA, told the FT. “The ability to change midstream helped this small blip from becoming something larger.” Yet the damage was already done, and the episode became a cautionary tale for companies. McDonald’s scored points for being quick to respond. “You need to be on it 24/7,” says Ann Lewnes, chief marketing officer at Adobe, the software company. “That’s one of the biggest changes to marketing today. You don’t just put a campaign out there. At any given moment, someone is saying something about your company and product, and you have to be listening.” Because McDonald’s was listening, it says the damage was limited, with the #McDStories parodies accounting for only 2......

...continue. Conclusion The key to understanding ES and DS is that the sources vary. A company needs to determine the net effect of its decisions affecting its efficiency, and not just focus on one particular source. Thus, while a decision to increase its scale of operations may result in decreasing the average cost of inputs (volume discounts), it could also give rise to diseconomies of scale if its subsequently widened distribution network is inefficient because not enough transport trucks were invested in as well. Thus, when making a strategic decision to expand, companies need to balance the effects of different sources of ES and DS so that the average cost of all decisions made is lower, resulting in greater efficiency all around. N Word

...The N-word dates back to the early 17th century, so why is it still such a big deal in literature, music and daily conversations? Joseph Henry Jackson once said, “Did you ever hear anyone say, ‘That work had better be banned because I might read it and it might be very damaging to me’?” Today s younger generation is far more comfortable with the N-word. It is often used in slang as a term of endearment or to show comfort and trust around someone. This often causes confusion in older generations and upsets them for the reason that they were raised in a time period where it was taught to use the N-word as a derogatory term to belittle someone’s humanity or social status in a community. The N-word, to some, is the ugliest racial slur created, and its purpose was to vilify African Americans. But to others, it is a reminder of the tumult their ancestors faced and how far they have come. In 1837, the “n-word” was already considered a huge slur when Hosea Easton wrote The Condition of Colored People of the United States: and the Prejudice Exercised Towards Them. He writes that the term would be perfectly harmless in theory, but instead, it is used with the intent to deliberately make African Americans feel inferior. The word has the same definition today, and that suggests that the word itself has not evolved at all from 1837 until now. Rather, people have evolved around the word and have become aware of the word’s vindictiveness....

...systemic tissues where carbon dioxide is produced, and right to left in the lungs where it is eliminated through respiration. Because the concentration of hydrogen ions (H+) fluctuates the pH decreases slightly in the tissues and increases slightly in the lungs. The pH range of blood is 7.35 to 7.45 and is maintained by the buffering action of the dissociation products of H2CO3 as well as by the blood's protein buffers. 14 Assignment: Write the equations illustrating oxygen and carbon dioxide transport in such a way that you show 1) What happens in the lungs. 2) What happens in the systemic tissues. ...profession. Our Reader's Club would certainly help in any way to make this possible. I was certain that by doing this she would change many people's lives. Many of her students would take this up as a profession and earn a living through these skills. She accepted immediately. She asked me to let her know when and where, and she would go. This was how it started; she became an ambassador for Star Insight. Over a thousand people now work with her. I asked her to tell me something about some of these people. “Many different types of people work for me,” she said. “Many tribal girls work as beauticians. They are really interested in the field, and make up a good part of the industry. Other areas such as management are predominately staffed by locals.” “We also have a group of acid survivors working for us,” she added. “We have several groups working for us that come from the BNWLA. The BNWLA is a lawyer's organization that works with social victims or the victims of crime or abuse who cannot go back to their own homes because of personal and social dangers. These victims are forced to take refuge with the BNWLA because they have nowhere else to go. We are going to open a branch in Mirpur, where we are training three hundred girls from BNWLA.” While talking to Kaniz, I was introduced to an acid survivor named Shabana. I asked Shabana how she ended up here. She replied, “I am from Kurigram, I was married off when I was twelve years old by my family, when I didn't even......
